PRODUCT CARE & MAINTENANCE

The55 is manufactured from high quality materials that offer a very tough and durable finish due to their unrivaled combination of properties. Removable mediums to fill the pockets can be sand (dry), gravel, aggregates, or fill 2 litre plastic drinks bottles with sand or water and place in each pocket.

Do not overload the pockets, maximum overall weight 20kg/47lbs (5kg/11lbs per pocket). Do not use sharp stone or objects.

The zips should easily close, ensure no filler material is caught within the zip mechanism, overloading will exert unnecessary pressure on the zips and may break them. Ensure that the Velcro is clean and free from of dirt and filler material.

smooth opening and closing of slider

The gearing of the elements can be damaged by forcing a slider that does not open or close smoothly. Apply paraffin or a lubricating spray for zip sliders to the front side and the back of the elements and move the slider up and down several times to work in the lubricant and make the slider work smoothly.

Loss of Elements

Trying to forcibly close the zipper of an over filled bag will cause an excess load on the elements. This is a fatal problem with a zipper, so the zipper should be closed only after bringing the two element’s sides near each other so that the slider can move more easily.

Slider caught in the cloth

The slider may catch on thread or cloth when opened or closed. Attempting to free the slider by force will only worsen the problem. Pull the slider back, removing the trapped thread or cloth. When the slider bites deeply into the cloth, do not force back but work back gently.

The bag can be cleaned using a mild soap solution, washing powder etc, do not use strong detergents or bleach as these will
discolour the bag and affect the waterproof nature of the material. Normally if the bag is left to dry after your work out, it can be brushed to remove mud and dirt etc and wiped over with a damp cloth.
